Hello, My name is Chinmayee Dash and I am a research scholar continuing my work at the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Rourkela, India. I started my professional journey in the year 2016. Before that, I acquired some hands-on knowledge and experience in the field of material science as a summer intern during my M.Sc period. From 2016 until now, I have mentored more than 10 students in their project work. I am a solo worker in my laboratory since 2017. Working alone without having a helping hand was so complicated and confusing at first, but I managed myself as I am a quick adjustive and practical in nature.

I was born and raised in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, and received my Master's Degree in Physics from the Fakir Mohan University of Balasore. After a while of joining Ph.D.in NIT Rourkela, I started to invest my interest beyond my lab. I joined as a focal mentor in the Student Counseling Committee in my Institute, where I took the responsibility of improvising students' mental and depressed minds by direct interaction. Meanwhile, I was tutoring at my workplace as a Math, science, and language tutor. My interest in learning and exploring things peaked during my stay at home for a long 8 months during COVID-19. I started learning CODING, Hanguel (Korean language), LATEX, blog posts, and workouts, which completely sowed a new seed.

Guiding, working as a completely individual, and counseling grew up my confidence level as a researcher, a teacher, and a mentor. I am an ambitious and active individual with a deep interest in exploring things, looking for employment that combines my research and teaching passions.
